About Me

Hi!  I’m Rebecca.  I spend most of my time reading, writing and trying to keep two tiny humans alive.  This blog is about all that, and since being diagnosed with CIDP in 2013 I also talk about life with a chronic illness too.

I’m 32 years old and live in Manchester in the UK, where the people are usually friendly and the weather is often shit.  I’m an on/off vegetarian, part-time library assistant, and a full-time worrier.

I used to blog at There Were Four in the Bed and the Little One Said but moved over here in 2014 and plan to stay.

Thanks for sharing your story, Rebecca!

I’ve been blogging since 2005, but recently have included some of my own experiences with GBS. I’ve also started building a new online store for people with functional limitations, and hope you will take a look and let me know what items you think I should add to address additional needs. All of our experiences are different, so your ideas are welcome.

Any thoughts?
